  • How do I book?

Complete the contact form, let us know what dates you want to book for and what sort of tour you want to do.  Once your dates are in the calendar we can discuss what you'd like to see and how you'd like to see it.  Look forward to hearing from you!


  • What is the cost?

Guiding fees start from £180 for a half-day (up to 4 hours), or from £290 for a full day (up to 8 hours).  You will also need to cover the cost of your entrances fees, transport and any refreshments.
Transport options include walking, taxi cab, public transport, coach or private chauffeur - we can provide details of the costs involved as we sort out your tour and where you want to go.


  • What happens if I have to cancel?

We always advise taking out travel insurance.  Cancellation fees will be payable depending on how far ahead the cancellation occurs; details provided in our terms and conditions.


  • How do I pay?

Payment by bank transfer is preferred or through PayPal; details provided once your booking is confirmed.


  • Can I change a tour once booked?

Of course! If you need to change dates then we'll do our best to accommodate you.  If you change your mind about what you want to do, then we'll work with you on this too.  The suggestions on the website are just that - suggestions - so if there are other things, places, visits, that interest you then please tell us about them.


  • How do you use my information?

Gold Star Guides will only use the information you share with us for the purposes of creating a guided tour or itinerary of guided visits.  We will not share it with anyone else or add you to our mailing list unless you expressly give us permission to do so.  If you write nice things about us we may use those words on our website.
